One team, every employer duty

You pick the person. We handle being the employer.

Standing up payroll, benefits, and state registrations for each new hire takes months. As your employer of record, we already have the entities and registrations in place, so your hire is on payroll in days, not quarters.

Every contract, pay run, and filing lives in one place, and the same team can run your books and taxes too.

Companies outside the US

No US entity? You can still hire US employees.

We let overseas companies employ people in the United States without registering a business here. We are the US employer on paper, so your team is hired legally, paid in dollars, and fully covered, while you direct the work.

We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice; we act as the employer of record, run payroll and filings, and flag when specialist counsel is worth it.

Before you hire

Do you need an EOR, or your own entity?

The right answer depends on how many people you hire and where. Here is how we help you decide.

When an EOR is the better move

  • You want to hire in a state where you have no entity
  • You are testing a new market with one or two people
  • You are a foreign company hiring in the US
  • You need someone employed and paid in days
  • You would rather not run payroll and filings yourself

EOR vs. PEO vs. your own entity

  • EORWe are the legal employer; no entity needed in that state.
  • PEOCo-employment, but you still need your own entity registered.
  • Own entityBest once your headcount in a state makes it cheaper.

As your team grows, we tell you when setting up your own entity beats the EOR fee, and help you make the switch.

Employer of Record FAQ

Q.What exactly is an Employer of Record?+

An EOR is a company that becomes the legal employer of your workers on paper. We handle payroll, taxes, benefits, insurance, and compliance, while you direct their day-to-day work. It lets you employ people in states or countries where you have no legal entity.

Q.How is an EOR different from a PEO?+

A PEO co-employs your staff but still requires you to have your own registered entity in each state. An EOR is the sole legal employer, so you need no entity of your own. For hiring in a new state fast, an EOR is usually simpler.

Q.Can a company outside the US hire US employees this way?+

Yes. This is one of the most common reasons to use an EOR. We act as the US employer, so an overseas company can hire and pay US staff without registering a US business first.

Q.How fast can someone start?+

Most hires are onboarded within days once we have their details and work authorization, compared with the months it can take to register your own entity and payroll in a new state.

Q.Who is responsible for the work and IP?+

You manage the work; we manage the employment. Our contracts assign all inventions and intellectual property to your company, so what your team creates belongs to you.

Q.When should we switch to our own entity?+

Once you have several employees in one state, running your own payroll can be cheaper than the per-employee EOR fee. We flag that break-even point and help you set up the entity and transition people off the EOR.

Hire anyone, anywhere, without the entity.

We run payroll, withhold taxes, administer benefits, and keep every filing compliant, while you manage the day-to-day work.
